Brian is the Director of Manning Tax & Business Consultants Pty Ltd. A Chartered Accountant, he is also a Registered Company Auditor and Justice of the Peace. Brian advises on income tax, capital gains tax, GST, accounting and audit issues and spends over 60 hours a year attending formal training courses to provide clients with the best possible advice.
Originally from a rural background, Brian worked both overseas and in Sydney for a large international accounting firm. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant he worked for two other medium sized Sydney accounting practices before accepting a position as Financial Controller of a Sydney based import/export group. Brian arrived in Taree in May 1990 and was a principal of Hall Alexander Pty Ltd from July 1991 to May 2000.
Brian's rural background and commercial experience enable him to relate to both rural and commercial small business people.
Donovan is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and a Senior Accountant in the practice. He has completed a Bachelor's Degree in Financial Administration and has 11 years experience in the accounting industry. Donovan specialises in Australian Taxation and GST, and is available to provide advice and direction in regard to these matters.
Donovan is an accredited finance facilitator and can assist clients with obtaining tax-effective commercial finance for business equipment (including motor vehicles) as well as home loans.
Susan Kirk graduated from the University of New England in 2004 as a Bachelor of Financial Administration. Susan is our audit team manager and specialises in the audit and preparation of statutory financial statements for registered clubs, incorporated associations and real estate trust accounts.
Aaron Yarnold
Assistant Accountant Aaron joined the company in November 2006 having completed a Commerce Degree majoring in Financial Accounting and Accounting & Finance for Managers. Aaron supports Donovan and is responsible for the preparation of Activity Statements, Tax Returns and Accounts. He is in process of obtaining CPA status. Aaron grew up in Taree and is a keen tennis player and is currently treasurer of the MRDTA.
Jessica Wilson
Assistant Accountant Jessica joined us in November 2006 with a Certificate III in Financial Accounting. She is currently completing a professional accounting qualification at the University of New England. Jessica supports Jackie and is responsible for the preparation of Activity Statements, Tax Returns and Accounts.
Sharyn Fletcher
Receptionist
Sharyn took over the demanding reception role in April 2008. Sharyn was born in Taree and has lived in the area most of her life. She is an experienced receptionist and administrator. Her many and varied responsibilities include lodging your income tax returns and activity statements.
